Description

Make your Cape Cod trip unforgettable at this spacious Captain's Home in West Dennis! With five bedrooms, 4.5 baths and gorgeous marsh views, it's your perfect holiday retreat.

The main level boasts a brand new gourmet kitchen with a wine cooler, premium appliances, and a large island with bar seating, flowing into the dining room with a farmhouse table. The spacious living area has exposed beams, wide plank floors, and plentiful seating. Off the living room is a sunporch, perfect for morning coffee. You'll also find a queen bedroom with an ensuite bathroom featuring a walk-in tiled shower. Nearby are a laundry room and additional half bath. The living area, kitchen, and queen bedroom all feature mini split air conditioning.

The second floor has three cozy bedrooms, each with window air conditioning plus a hallway bathroom with a tub/shower combination. The King bedroom also has an attached bath with a tub/shower. Over the garage (accessible through the kitchen), you will find the fifth bedroom with its own full bathroom and stand-up shower. This bedroom will also have window air conditioning.

The expansive deck is a great spot to relax and enjoy the marsh views of Weir's Creek. You can also see West Dennis Beach from the rooftop deck. The lush lawn is perfect for some downtime after a day at the beach. Bring your own lawn games or play on our horse shoe court, with exterior lighting letting you continue the fun after sunset. Don't miss the oversized outside shower and gas grill, perfect for your outdoor needs.

Enjoy a quick 0.4-mile walk to West Dennis Beach on Nantucket Sound, a beloved spot for summer fun and stunning sunsets!

We're a large and extended family, and this house is very accommodating.The deck, yard, and outdoor showers are great. Huge grill. We do most of our own cooking, and the kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, baking dishes, utensils, plates and glassware, etc. I bring some of my own things, like knives and whiskes. 2 things that could be improved: the shower in the downstairs bedroom is unusable because the shower door is cracked. And the two small bedrooms upstairs would benefit from having TVs in them, since all the other bedrooms do.

The best part of our vacation was the location and how the owner provides excellent utensils, pots, pans, and dishes. The shower above the garage needs updating. The refrigerator in the kitchen has a very loose handle.
